Welcome to PandasPals, where every story has a wagging tail and every action brings hope. Our journey began with one remarkable dog and grew into a global community dedicated to making a lasting difference for street dogs in Thailand. Here’s how our story, and Panda's legacy, began.
A rescue story that touched the world
Panda’s story began on 17 February 2025, when Niall Harbison of Happy Doggo in Thailand found him, sad, overweight, and severely ill, on the ground outside a 7-11. He was dirty, covered in fleas, ticks, and leeches, and couldn't stand. Niall brought him back to Happy Doggo, where he received a bath, medical care, and a safe place to rest. Little did Niall know, this rescue would soon have an international impact.
From survival to a second chance
And survive he did! As Panda recovered, the goal shifted from mere survival to finding a new life full of hope and fulfilment with his very own family. This transformation highlighted a vital truth: many other street dogs at Happy Doggo need a second, third, or even fourth chance at life, just like Panda. Happy Doggo tirelessly works to provide these opportunities, giving countless dogs the medical care, love, and safety they deserve.
Uniting for a paw-sitive impact
Inspired by Panda's resilience, Panda's mum envisioned doing more to support Niall and Happy Doggo’s mission. She gathered a small group of followers from across the globe, and Panda’s Pals was born! Now a vibrant online community of dog-loving, caring, and creative people from several continents, we collaborate to give back to Happy Doggo. Our mission is simple: to create a lasting legacy in Panda’s name that profoundly impacts street dogs, connecting with dog lovers, businesses, families, children, and schools worldwide.
